The body of 27-year-old David Bernard of Portmore, St Catherine, who was reported missing on Wednesday, was found washed up on the beach in Colloraine, Annotto Bay, St Mary, on Saturday.

Reports reaching the Constabulary Communication Network are that Bernard left home for work last Wednesday. When he did not return, a missing person's report was filed with the St Catherine South Police. Shortly after 10 on Saturday morning, Bernard's body was found washed up on the beach in St Mary. The police were called and an on-the-spot post-mortem which was done proved inconclusive. The body was subsequently removed to the Spanish Town Morgue for further examinations.
