Telemarketer murdered

A 33-year-old telemarketing officer was shot and killed by unknown assailants at Old Hope Road, Papine, Kingston 6 on Thursday night.

Dead is Marvin Bayliss of Mona Commons, Papine.

Reports are that about 8:40 p.m., residents heard explosions and called the police. When they arrived, Bayliss' body, with gunshot wounds, was seen lying on the roadway. The body was removed to the morgue.

Cops probe two deaths

The Annotto Bay Police have launched a probe into the shooting death of two men at a bar at Junior Pen district, Annotto Bay, St Mary, on Thursday night.

Dead are Lionel Cunning-ham, 27, otherwise called 'Big Foot' and Noel Jacks, 25, both of Junior Pen district.

Reports are that about 8:40 p.m., Cunningham and Jacks were among a group of persons at a bar in the community when three men, armed with guns, entered the establishment. The men immediately opened gunfire hitting the two men. They were taken to the Annotto Bay Hospital where they died while being treated.

unidentified body found

An unidentified man was shot dead by unknown assailants on Oakland Road, Kingston 11, on Thursday night.

The dead man is believed to be in his early 20s, of dark complexion, slim build and about 172 centimetres tall. At the time of his death he was dressed in a grey short pants and black slippers.

Reports are that about 10:50 p.m., residents heard explosions in the community.

The body was discovered on the roadway shortly after. The police were called and the body was removed to the morgue for a post mortem examination.
