Dear Pastor,
I have been seeing a guy for more than two years now and we were even engaged. Four months into our engagement, I found out that he was cheating on me. At first he said that he was confused and that the reason it happened was because he was under a lot of stress from me being in Graduate school full-time. He said that he was not sure if he was in love with the woman he was seeing. It however seemed to me that he was deciding who to choose. He now tells me that he cannot see himself with anyone else and that he loves me and wants to marry me.
Pastor, I am so confused because people always say once a cheater always a cheater. Even though I cannot write all the details in this letter, please give me your best possible advice. Thank you
M.,
Dear M.,
If you plan to marry this man, both of you should go for pre-marital counselling. If he is confused, the counselling sessions could help him.
