Portmore Flames tackle newcomer Port Royal Bulls

The Portmore Flames will try to stop a 1-3 win-loss record in the Kentucky Fried Chicken-sponsored National Basketball League, when they face newcomers Port Royal Bulls at the Stadium Courts this evening, Match time is 7:45 p.m.

In the opening game Runnin' Rebels battle Majesty Gardens at 6 p.m. Flames won their first game of the season 93-92 over Link-up All Stars. However, they have lost three straight games. Tivoli All Stars, Arnett Gardens Rockers and sophomore team Majesty Gardens have scored wins over the Sunshine City team.

In today's game, Flames will depend on three-point shooter Adrian Coote, Phillip Reid, and Kenardo Smith for the bulk of their points. Port Royal Bulls can run at the best teams in the league, having the likes of Paul Oliphant and Damion Young. Both can score at will.
