Miguel Page otherwise known as Xcellent says he is a talented dancehall artiste, ready to make his mark on the musical scene.
Page, who has been in the business for over 12 years, says at this point he is willing to work with anyone who can help to boost his career.
Born in Dela Vega City, Spanish Town, Page says he became interested in music while in primary school, but it was after leaving high school in 2000 that he decided to pursue his musical career, after realising he had a talent.
"Mi born a musician, a long time me a perform fi people, from school days, me a perform at fairs an dem ting deh," he said.
In that year, he entered and won a competition called 'Reggae Trail Talent Search' hosted by Suzie Q and Bagga Brown. He later went on to enter the competition's all island finals in which he placed second.
Musical aspirations
Through the exposure of the island-wide tour, he caught the attention of businessman Courtney Rose, who took up the task of helping him realise his musical aspirations.
It was also Courtney Rose who introduced him to Sizzla Kalonji, with whom he has been working to date.
Page says he has performed on a number of shows including, Spectrum in 2007 and 2008, Champions In Action in 2006, West Kingston Jamboree in 2006 and Sizzla's Rise to the Occasion in 2008.

Page says for him, the sky is limit. "I am now working with Bloodstain Entertainment from Vibes Corner in Stony Hill. I also have a new rhythm that I'm producing called the 'Pull Over Rhythm' which features my new track Pull Over and a song by Sizzla Kalonji titled BadMind Eeh, so people can look out for that and expect a lot more from Xcellent."
