How did you get started in the business?

Was first a part of a duo in 2005 called Sojah, which included my brother Delus. We had a number one song in Japan, also a month-long tour and the following year released an album titled Sons of Jah. Konshens as a solo artiste started in mid '07, because we wanted local attention so that's how we branched off.

What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?

Can't really identify one, the business itself is a great challenge.

What have you been up to lately?

Working on a couple of singles, have so far released songs like Winning, the video for the single is currently out now, Mi Ting, Don't Waste Talent, Music and Warrior. Also recently performed at the Pre Game show for the Reggae Boyz match and have a couple of shows coming up this summer.

Do you look up to any specific artiste?

Look up to Beres, but rate Cham, Killa, Beenie, the whole a dem but my main musical influence as an artiste is Beres.

Are you happy with the way things are going for your career right now?

Yes, definitely, jus need to put in more work. Would also like to thank and send respect to the disc jockeys, selectors and media personalities for all their support.

Anything you'd like to change about it?

Not really, jus for December fi come tomorrow and to see what it would really look like.

What are your future plans?

Continue doing music, in every aspect as an artiste, producer as long as I'm in the business.

Do you have any advice for young artistes coming up?

Study yuh trade if you want to enter the business, if yuh don't, it will draw you out.
