Bar-Bee's on the mend

Barbee - file

Singer Bar-Bee is said to be recovering quite well from a car accident that she was involved in last Friday in New York.

According to her publicist, Ray Alexander, "she will be released this week," after the singer was held for a few days as a precautionary measure.

Alexander also told THE STAR that Bar-Bee did a CAT Scan on Monday to find out if there were any internal injuries or bleeding, and she is now in the clear.

Bar-Bee's publicist also told THE STAR that the singer said she was "tired to lie down in bed" as she was ready to get back to working on a few singles.

Bar-Bee had been in a coma for two hours after her Mercedes-Benz car was totalled.

Reports were that the singer was in the passenger seat of the vehicle, being driven by a female friend. The singer was on her way to the Jamrock Reggae Fest at the Hammerstein Ballroom, NY, where she was to perform.
