Braves Chiefs and Selassie Gardens will play for the champion's title in the Homsestyle Juices Division One Southern Conference Basketball League after both teams closed out their semi-final series last night at the National Stadium court.

The best-of-three final series begin on June 11 with Game Two on June 13 and, if necessary, Game Three on June 16.

Both finalists closed out their opponents in two games, with Braves edging Meadows All-Stars 57-54 and Selassie Gardens thrashing the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) 55-40.

Brian Grant led the way for Braves with 20 points and Kevin Corrie added 13, while Michael Blake had a team-high 17 points for Meadows.

In the second semi-final, Ricardo Willis led Selassie to the final with 17 points while Kenroy Grant posted 12 points for the losing JDF.
