Pressure cooked

Dear Pastor,

I have a little issue that I am trying to ignore, but sometimes it catches up with me. I cannot handle too much pressure and when I do, I have to see a professional. I am in college and this is my major concern. I don't like failing, but even though I do my best sometimes I end up doing worse than I want to do. Whenever this happens my family always makes me feel worthless, especially my sister. I am 26 years old. Other than that I am a really happy person, life is good for me so far

Pastor, do you think I should value their opinion as much as I do, even when it makes me depressed?

M. B., New York, USA

Dear M. B.,

Ignore your relatives unless they are giving positive suggestions. You have failed some subjects, but that does not mean that you are a fool. You may have to spend more time in the areas where you are weak. Never give up. Try until you succeed.

Pastor
