No interest in credit !

Dear Pastor,

I am writing to you today to seek answers for the topic that I have been worrying about for the past three years. I'm now 18 years old and I just finishing high school. I want to go to college, but I'm afraid I might not make it there.

But if I do, I'm going to have to take out a student loan, which I don't want to do. I don't want to be in debt and have a world of creditors down on me.

Worried

I would love to buy my first house by the age of 25. I'm just worried that I won't be able to go to college. Over here in Canada, the government is making a big decision based on giving student loans, since some people here are too poor to pay it back. And then there are the ones who have money and they don't pay back most of it.

Pastor, I need answers, please.

S.W., Ontario, Canada

Dear S.W.,

Nothing good in life is free. If you want a good education, seek a student loan. Don't try to take short cuts. Work hard and don't seek handouts.

Pastor
