Two illegal guns seized

The Kingston Central police seized two illegal firearms during an operation in downtown Kingston on Sunday night.

Police reports are that between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., a police operation was carried out on West Street and surrounding areas.

The police went to a premises on West Street where they reportedly found a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol with thirty-three 9mm cartridges. A .38 revolver with five rounds of ammunition was also found.

No arrest was made in connection with the find.
