D'Angel gives 'Blazing'
performance In England - Winston Sill
STAR of the Month, D'Angel, recently gave a stunning performance in England.
D'Angel, who spoke to The STAR from the United Kingdom, says she was scheduled to do three shows there, but two were cancelled because of problems with the promoters and venues.
Nevertheless, D'Angel was sure to make the most of her show, as she says, "it sell off, di people dem a England love mi."
They loved me!
"I did a show in London at the Stratford Rex, it was called 'Ghetto Story Conscience' on Sunday the 25th. It was good. When they called my name, the crowd received me really well, they were all excited to see me. I did 10 songs, an entire catalogue, from hits like Downtown Girl, Baby Daddy, Can't Stall, Whisper and I top it off with Rise, to let people know that no matter what in life, you have to try and rise above all negativity, it was to encourage people to feel good about themselves, because it's not how you fall but how you rise," D'Angel said.
Baby Cham was the headliner for the show and other local artistes like Little Hero and Kiprich also performed.
D'Angel is set to return to the island on Thursday, May 29.
