Therefore, LAWS OF LUVVE, WIN POWER, JACK BE NIMBLE and RAZZ BUGG must be contemplated as supporting selections to open the Pick-9.

Treat the fourth race similarly. A 1300-metre maiden event for five-year-olds, the event looks tailor-made for FLAVA MACHINE, who has worked well off a six-month lay-up. However, it wouldn't hurt to consider PATH OF BLISS, ROYAL FLAME and ALINA CHO back-up horses.

Races five and six have ready-made bankers in the American debutant RACING MACHINE and FLORENCE, respectively.

Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta's RACING MACHINE has been catching birds at exercise, 1:06.3 for five and a half-furlongs last Sunday morning, beating up stablemate and fellow debutant, DIABOLICAL KID.

FLORENCE, who was far from disgraced when placing second behind TWENTYFIRSTOFJUNE at 1000 metres around a month ago, should get off the mark at 1300 metres.

Treated with lasix for her last run, FLORENCE showed enough improvement to beat lesser horses, most of whom lack good form.

SEA DA BREEZE should be the horse to beat in the seventh at 1000 metres straight after his strong second behind repeat winner BADJEROS ROSE at the distance earlier this month.

However, PURE JUSTICE and BACK POCKET are both drawn well in mid-track and must be dangerous contenders after big efforts when ITAL QUEEN beat both on the round course on April 16.

RAINBOW TRAIN and PRINCE TERRON also look good in races eight and nine at 10 furlongs and a mile, respectively.

RAINBOW TRAIN gets her pet trip and a drop in class whereas super-fit PRINCE TERRON performed as if he should get a mile when beaten by the speedy SMOOTHABILITY at 1300 metres, two Saturdays ago.

FUSILIER is another banker for Pick-9 players, taking a drop in class among top-level claimers in the Labour Day Trophy, after chasing home EXPLOSIVE PEAK two races prior as an Overnight Allowance runner.
