Desmond Barrington Brown, aka Skeng D has been knocking on the musical door for several years and has no intention of stopping until he gets his due reward.

Skeng D got his big break at the now defunct Cactus Night Club in 1990, and continues to inspire many who have been listening to him perform.

"I have performed all over, I did Reggae Fever 1992 and 1993, Sting 1995 and several other musical events both locally and abroad," he said.

Brown went on to state that his efforts were now on the horizon as he currently opens for Reggae act Junior Kelly, and has been touring with the entertainer in places like Japan, Belize, Trinidad and several European countries.

"I have also done several songs such as Shotta, with Alpha Rowen, Look What It Cost, Love Mama and other songs," he said.

He also told THE STAR that the mission of music is one that is hard to fulfil. But despite negativity in the music, Skeng D says he will only be associated with positive music. He made special mention of Junior Kelly who he says, has helped to keep him in touch with the musical journey, but knows that he has much more to offer to the musical fraternity.
