Dear Pastor,
I have a situation. My dearest friend of 10 years, on one hot Sunday afternoon, revealed to me that he was gay. Now, pastor, I'm a firm believer in the Lord, and I would have never thought for a moment that he was gay. I feel somewhat betrayed by him. He has kept this secret from me for so long, therefore, only one thing comes to my mind and that is he does not value our friendship enough to have told me about his double life. I think I shouldn't let such an issue come between two good friends, but I think I should let him know where I stand with his lifestyle.
Pastor, what do you think? Thank you.

Dear C. S.,
This man and you are just social friends. If you want to continue to be his friend, no one should try and stop you. He has finally told you that he is gay. Whether you want to drop him or keep him as a friend is up to you.
