Jury selection is under way in the trial of elite track coach Trevor Graham, who's accused of lying to investigators probing steroids in sports.

Graham has pleaded not guilty to three counts of lying to federal investigators about his connections to weight trainer Angel 'Memo' Heredia, who says he helped Graham's athletes obtain performance-enhancing drugs.

Heredia is expected to testify at the trial, as well as several of Graham's former athletes who say their ex-coach helped them obtain substances banned in their sport.

The trial started Monday with vetting of 70 potential jurors, and the judge plans to seat 14 jurors, including alternates. The trial is expected to last about two weeks.
