The three male teenagers who were arrested and charged, along with a church deacon in 2006, for trafficking in persons in a case involving a 14-year-old schoolgirl pleaded guilty yesterday.
The three pleaded guilty when they appeared in the Home Circuit Court.
Justice Donald McIntosh extended their bail until Wednesday, when they will be sentenced.
Former church deacon, Donovan Jones, who is on bail, was ordered to return to court on September 22, when his trial will begin. Jones, 48, resigned from his position as a deacon after he was arrested and charged.
The facts of the case, which resulted from a story broken by The Gleaner, were that the three teenagers fondled the schoolgirl in April and May of that year and one of the accused video-recorded the incidents. The tapes were later leaked to the media and the police.
