Willis has baby girl

Nadine Willis - File

Pulse model Nadine Willis gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Wednesday.

Pulse CEO Kingsley Cooper relayed the news to The STAR yesterday that the one-time Vogue model is doing well after the birth.

The bouncing baby girl, named Zein Bell Willis, weighed in at 3.1 kilos (6 lbs 8 oz) at birth. She entered the world naturally at 1:05 a.m. at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital. She is Willis' second child, her first named Tatjana Berg.

Willis told The STAR that the birth "was very difficult". "My blood pressure went way up but I had great doctors and nurses who helped me to deliver my baby. She is doing fine. Already she loves to eat."

According to Willis, thus far the support from friends and family has been very good, with several persons coming to visit. Nadine says she is delighted with her newborn, as is Tatjana, who, she says, "wants to comb the baby's hair".

When last The STAR spoke with Nadine, she had plans to continue working on her modelling career, having worked throughout her first pregnancy. The second time around will be no different as a very pregnant-looking Nadine will grace the cover of SHE magazine later this month.

While, for some models, the birth of a child, much less two children, would herald the end of their days on the runway and in the pages of the hottest magazines, Nadine says this gives her more motivation to go forward.

She recently embarked on a singing career with her single So What which debuted early this year.

With a hectic schedule ahead of her, Nadine plans to get a nanny for some assistance but also wants her new daughter to travel on assignments with her.

Cooper also believes that she will be able get back to her career soon.

"She's had a child before and it didn't affect her and it certainly won't affect her singing," he told The STAR.

He said that she was able to do promotional work for her single So What, even a few weeks before giving birth.

"Having a child is a personal decision, so it wasn't a major issue. In terms of moving forward, she just needs to get back in shape as soon as possible and make proper arrangements for her children," said Cooper, while citing that her picture on the cover of SHE will be sensational.
