Dear Pastor,
I am a 19-year-old woman and I have been with my boyfriend, also 19, for five months. He is the most loving guy I have ever been involved with. Whenever we are together, it's like there is no one else in this world.
We also talk every night on the phone till the early hours of the morning. The thing is we have not yet had intercourse, but may have it soon. But I'm not sure if I should hold out. And if I do, how much longer should I wait? I mean I can live without it, but he is a guy that has got to have it, although he has not cheated on me yet.
So, tell me, pastor, what should I do?

Dear S,
You can never be sure what a man would or would not do. Your relationship is still very new, so both of you spend long hours on the phone. It is likely that if you were to go to bed with him, the duration of the telephone calls will cut and he might not call you very often. He would have got what he wanted and what he patiently waited for.
Men tread lightly after their prey, and when they have caught their prize they find faults and even totally ignore their prey. It may happen to you. I cannot encourage you to have sex with this man. But I must warn you, if both of you are determined to have sex, use a condom.
Pastor
