Where is Abigail Smith?

Rasbert Turner, Spanish Town

The parents of nine-year-old Abigail Smith are really worried about what has happened to their child.

Little Abigail left home for school (Brown's Hall Primary) sometime in April and did not return home and there has been no word from her or anyone she could be with.

Her mother Alicia Jarrett told The Star that she has not been eating nor sleeping since little Abigail went missing.

"It's really a sad time for me and I did not know that it would come a time when I miss my child without a trace," said Jarrett.

Meanwhile, the Point Hill Police acknowledged reports of the missing child. Woman Corporal Kiffra Bent said that the matter has been reported and the police have made several checks and will continue to investigate. "We understand that the last time the child was seen was in the Macca Tree area about 6:00 p.m., the day she should have returned from school."

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of this child can call the Point Hill Police at 705-5079 or 422-2421.
