Despite a minor power outage, the recently held FAME School Rules at Ferncourt High School in St Ann was a success.
Star of the Month, D'Angel, who was onhand to share and interact with the students and staff at the Ferncourt High School, said, "It was a very, very good experience."
According to D'Angel, "From dem sey D'Angel, di whole place erupted. I was well received. After I finished performing (songs like Downtown Girl, Blaze, High Intensity), I went into the crowd with the students on the dance floor."
Encore
D'Angel says, "I even got an encore, they (the students) couldn't get enough, so I performed Can't Stall and Babyfather, which they requested. But before I went into Babyfather, I shared a couple pointers with the students, and told them that they should either abstain or practise safe sex. I choose my songs very carefully as a mother and role model, so ah have songs in my catalogue for different audiences."
Adding, "I also encouraged the students to get a good education."
After D'Angel thrilled her young fans, she said she "went into the crowd and they (students) shared a couple of dance moves with me and I interacted with them, letting them know that I am real, I am a real person, not just a celebrity. Suh big up to Ferncourt High School, I had fun while I was there, the experience was very good".
