Bobby Digital's brother shot dead

A man who police say is the brother of veteran music producer Bobby Digital was shot dead by gunmen in St Andrew last Friday night.

Eric Dixon, 52, an electronic technician from Washington Gardens, Kingston 20, was shot dead by a gunman at his business place on Lady Musgrave Road.

Several efforts to speak with Bobby Digital about the incident were unsuccessful yesterday as calls to his cellular and house phones proved futile.

Police reports however indicate that about 7:15 p.m., Dixon and another man were involved in a dispute over a television set. The man left and shortly after returned in a motor car with two other men.

The television, the police say, was handed over to the man who placed it in the vehicle and upon leaving, one of the men pulled a gun and and shot Dixon several times. He died on the spot.

The Matilda's Corner police are investigating.
