Dear Pastor,
I'm a 24-year-old female who has been in two serious relationships. I have been dating a guy who is a cop by night and a taxi driver by day for the past month and half. He is so loved by my family, because of his character and personality. I must say he's a real nice guy, who like everyone else has his faults. He's very ambitious too. We had our first big quarrel just last week over some money that I lent him. Nonetheless I had a friend pretending to be a cop call him and enquire about the money because I was not getting a concrete answer from him though the repayment period had expired. However he did not take kindly to this act, nor my follow up behaviour.
I have been so uncomfortabe with our present situation. It is driving me insane because he doesn't call or visit as often.
I have no idea where the both of us will go from here. He is a very vindictive individual and so am I, so I'm holding back as much as he's holding back, because I guess he wants to get back at me for what I did.
Please, can you give me your fatherly advice and also pray for me and my boyfriend.

Dear N.B.,
I would suggest (if you have not done so as yet) that you call your boyfriend and tell him that you are sorry for asking a friend to call him about the money. I am sure you have told him that you did so out of frustration, but looking back, you have seen that that was a wrong method you used. Tell him you appreciate him and you would like the relationship to continue. Therefore you would like him to come by and see you.
Pastor
