Cold and heartless

THE EDITOR, Sir:

My heart is bleeding after reading about young children being shot in the back. How can people be so heartless? What kind of nation is this that cannot take care of it's women and children? Jamaicans overseas would love to visit their loved ones and family but they are scared because they don't know if they are going back alive!

No country is totally safe to visit, but the reports that are coming from Jamaica do not look good. Jamaicans overseas are willing to help develop more social programmes to stop the youths from killing each other.

The Jamaicans living abroad are willing to give their financial support.

More must be done to take these criminals off the streets. We are fed up of the crime and violence!

I am, etc.,
