Man killed by lone gunman

A 23-year-old man was shot dead by a lone gunman at Seaward Drive, Kingston 20, yesterday.

Dead is Ian Palmer whose address has not yet been ascertained.

Reports from the Constabulary Communication Network are that about 4:45 p.m., Palmer was standing outside a shopping plaza when he was approached by a man armed with a gun. The gunman opened fire, hitting him several times, before escaping into the area. The injured man was taken to the University Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
