Respect and trust are the keys

Dear Pastor,

I am a 20-year-old female. I am a Jamaican living abroad with my boyfriend. He is 11 years older than I am. We have been together for one year and four months and I must tell you that the relationship is wonderful. He is also from a different country.

He treats me well and with a lot of respect. We never fight, but we do have differences and we solve them in an adult form manner. This man really loves me. I remember one night I was having the flu and he went to get medications for me at 11:30 in the night. He calls me four or more times for the day. We have been living together for the last 10 months, and every day he treats me nicer and nicer. He is my first love and I hope it will also last. We are planning to get married in the future.

I want to say to all the women out there, who are having a hard time with their partners, be respectful to each other, treat each other with love and use kind words, and try to trust each other. And to those young lovers like myself, feel free to talk to your partners about your problems, and remember respect! God bless you all

J. I., USA

Dear J. L.,

Thanks for sharing. I wish you well.
