We're back! THE STAR poll is here once again and dare we say, better than ever. We hit the streets with all the juiciest questions about sex, obeah, music, religion and much more and now we're ready to give you the results. Prepare to be shocked and amused like never before.

When deciding on a partner for a long-term relationship, the average person considers several factors. To some persons, personality is all that matters, while to others, material things and wealth are very important. We wanted to get a better understanding of how people felt, so we asked :

If you had to choose between having a long term relationship with someone who was good looking, or someone who was smart, or someone who was rich, or someone who was good in bed, which would you choose? Here's what we got:

Good Looking 4% (40.32)

Smart 71% (715.68)

Rich 10% (100.8)

Good in Bed 8% (80.64)

Don't Know 7% (70.56)

These results suggest that the majority of people would prefer to enter into a relationship with a smart person. Whether this is truly reflective of the general consensus of the people, however, is another matter. Though this might look and sound good in theory, do people really go for only smart mates? Somehow, we think not.

Also of interest is the fact that the next largest percentage of people said they would consider someone rich. Now, this is more like it. When was the last time you heard a man or even a woman for that matter saying, "I want to marry a smart man?" On the other hand, it is common to hear men and women talk about their desire to marry rich.

However shocking it may be that people say they will go for a 'brainy' partner over a rich or good looking one, it is the voice of the people and we have to believe it!
