Dear Pastor,
I've been having a problem on my hands for quite some time now and it's bothering me a lot. It's about my ex-boyfriend. I am still deeply in love with him, even though I don't see him. It's been two years now and I can't seem to get him out of my head. It's affecting my current relationship because I am not thinking straight. He is always on my mind. I would like you to give me your advice and some ways in which I can get him out of my life. He's now here in Jamaica and I have to be pinching myself not to go see him. I know that he is here because his uncle called me and told me because he knows how I feel about him.
Please, help me, pastor.
W., St Andrew, Jamaica
Dear W.,
You have survived for the past two years while your ex-boyfriend was away. Now that he is visiting, you have to be pinching yourself not to go and see him. My suggestion to you, therefore, is to continue to pinch yourself. You don't have to yield to the temptation of seeing him because you know what that will cause. Evidently this guy doesn't love you as much as you love him. He hasn't tried to find you because he knows that you have another guy. Pinch yourself, my dear, pinch yourself. One of these days you will totally get over him.
Pastor
