Watson Grove crush 6-1 Portmouth to reach final

Watson Grove set up a big final clash with Portsmouth on Sunday, April 6, after they mauled Greater Portmore 6-1 in a Colin Fagan-sponsored Portmore Division Two knock-out football semi-final at the Portsmouth playing field on Sunday.

In the opening game of the double header, a Fabian Simes hat-trick led Portsmouth to a 3-0 blanking of Daytona. Simes goals came in the 10th, 15th and 85th minutes.

Greater Portmore took an early 1-0 lead through Davaine Patterson, But Watson Grove in return scored six unanswered goals. Andre Thompson netted a double, while, Richard Barrows (penalty), Joel Banton, Sean Crooks and Dwayne Reid completing the rout.
