Teen shot at sports day

A teenager was shot and injured in Maverley shortly after the Pembroke Hall High School's sports day ended yesterday.

The injured man is a 19-year-old resident of the same community.

According to police reports, Morris was walking across the school's playing field shortly after 6p.m., heading in the direction of Maverley when he was approa-ched by a lone gunman who opened fire, hitting him in the chest and limbs. The injured teen was rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.

The Duhaney Park police are investigating.
