Dear Pastor,
I am an 18-year-old female. I am having a big problem. The thing is that I have four boyfriends at one time. I have to share week by week, but out of the four, I only love two of them.
Pastor, I need your help. One out of the four boys beat me whenever I tell him that I am leaving because he has his girl in America. I am with this guy for five years. That is since I started high school. We were playing cheating games all this time. Now I want him to leave because I am going to be engaged with one of the other guys, but this guy will not leave me alone.
I need you fatherly advice, please.
Confused Girl, St. Andrew, Jamaica
Dear Confused,
I hope that you will not become engaged. You are not ready for that. You need to get yourself an education and learn to control yourself. You should report the young man who is always beating you to the police and stop being intimate with all four young men.
People are going to consider you bad and may even call you a prostitute when they find out that you have many boyfriends. You may think that it is good to be popular and that all these boys love you. But what these boys want is to get under your skirt.
Everybody makes mistakes. So, consider having these four men in your life as a mistake and ask God to help you change your life. Remember, you are too young to be engaged. I don't mean to imply that some 18 year olds are not mature enough to be engaged and get married, but you are not that type. So please don't even consider it.
Pastor
