Hit the road, Jack

Dear Pastor,

I am writing you this letter because I am stressed out. Just the other day I ended up in the emergency room. The doctors did an EKG on me and my heart rate was perfectly well. They sent me home and told me it was stress. I have a man and he is a royal pain in my neck. He is constantly cursing me and calling me all kinds of names. I am tired of him and I told him to go on with his life and leave me alone, but the man will not leave me alone.

Stress-sfree

How do I get him out of my life? I also have a child for him, but I want him to run fast, fast out of my life so that I will be happy and stress-free.

N.F., Kingston, Jamaica

Dear N.F.,

I suggest that you take out a restraining order on this man. Tell the court about the child and that you are willing for him to have visitation rights so the court can say when he can take him/her for weekends, etc. But that you should not be molested at all. If you seriously don't want this man in your life, you definitely should take out an injunction. You may need the help of an attorney.

Pastor
