Dear Pastor,
Do you believe women who cannot conceive are somewhat cursed members of society? I am a 22-year-old woman involved with a man to whom I want to give a family. I had a miscarriage after two months last year and that was my first pregnancy. Since then, I am with the same man and sex is very regular with us, but nothing happens. This will eventually frustrate him and cause him to discover the truth. I found out through an X-ray like test that my tubes are blocked and I will be doing further surgical testing soon. Then any treatments or procedures can be ordered.
I have not shared this finding with my man because I feel so ashamed. I believe in God very much and know He can change anything in due time, so I am hopeful. But I don't know how to approach this with my man. He is a father already and may not see the point in staying with someone who can't give him a family and start a new life.
Please give me an idea for an approach. I am in need of a family. I never got to experience having a family until I met him and I think I owe him to add to our family. Thanks, Pastor.

Dear C.W.,
If this man truly loves you he will marry you and not worry about when you will conceive again. Many women whose tubes have been blocked have done what the doctors recommended and have become pregnant. You are not cursed because you have not become pregnant since you had a miscarriage.
Men ought not to pressure women to become pregnant and women should not feel that unless they have children they are not women. So, tell this man exactly what your doctor told you and what ought to be done. Don't hide anything from him. What is wrong with you is nothing to be ashamed of.
Pastor
