Jamaican international supermodel Nadine Willis is seven months pregnant with her second child.
The Pulse managed fashion model, who refused to give the sex of the child or name the father, is excited about the pregnancy. "I look forward to the birth but it has not in any way affected neither my modelling nor singing careers, I continued working throughout my last pregnancy and have done so for most of this one before the physical effects started to show" she said.
As for her singing career, she told The STAR that she is confident that she can balance her two careers. "I am very pleased with how the radio has responded to my music, and that has given me the confidence that when my single is officially released I will have no problems with the sales," she said.
She continued that while she would love the opportunity to work with international artistes like Sean Paul and Shaggy, she says she fully believes in herself as an artiste in her own right, and does not want her music career to be obscured by the veterans in the business.
"I don't want to be in the shadow of anyone and I don't want anyone to be in my shadow, so a collaboration is something I will only consider once I have been established as an artiste," says Nadine.
The unofficial release for her first single So What has received mixed responses from the general public, some of which reeked of heavy criticism. However, with the strong backing of Kingsley Cooper, CEO of Pulse Music, Nadine is unmoved by any negativity, "It is in Kingsley's hand and I place total trust in him, I am just eager to hear the release date because I know it will do well," Nadine said.
