A second instalment of the science fiction movie Alien vs Predator 2 has been released around the world. Although it is just as a good a flick as its prequel, it not as good as the original classic films both Alien and Predator franchises.

The first Alien movie was directed by veteran film-maker Ridley Scott and starred Sigourney Weaver in 1979. This was a huge success back then and Weaver reprised her character named Ripley in the sequel directed by film-maker James Cameron in 1986.

Cameron is known for movies like the Terminator, Rambo, First Blood II and the highly successful Titanic.

The other original film titled Predator starred Arnold Schwarzenegger in the '80s.The movie was about US commandoes trapped in the deep Cambodian jungle being hunted down by the Predator. The sequel starred Danny Glover.

Pairing up villainous creatures doesn't work the second time around. Remember the classic film Godzilla vs King Kong?
