Lutan 'Fyahs' house?

Rasbert Turner, Staff Reporter
Spanish Town, St Catherine

Popular entertainer Lutan Fyah, real name Andre Martin, was taken into custody on suspicion of arson by the Spanish Town police on Thursday morning.

Martin resides at a Thompson Pen address in St Catherine.

Reports reaching the Star are that earlier in the week a house was burnt in Beacon Hill near Thompson Pen and an investigation launched by the police resulted in the entertainer being taken into custody.

On Friday when the Star checked at the Spanish Town Police station, the entertainer who has hits such as St Jago De La Vega and Juvenile was still in custody and further information gleaned from the police is that the house that was burnt is owned by a jockey who lives in the community.

Although no formal charges have been laid against the entertainer, senior police personnel say that the investigation will deepen as time progresses. Meanwhile, Martin is being held at the Spanish Town lock up.
