Injured man dies in hospital

A man who was shot and injured at the intersection of Tower Avenue and Calladium Crescent in Olympic Gardens, Kingston 11, on Thursday night, died in the Kingston Public Hospital on Friday morning.

Dead is 23 year-old Kevin Daley of Ebony Road, Kingston 11.

Reports from the CCN are that at about 10:00 p.m., Daley was among a group of persons sitting on the roadway. A white Nissan Sunny motor car with four men aboard drove up. Two of the men alighted from the car with guns and opened fire, hitting Daley. He was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition. He died at about 3 a.m. yesterday.

The Olympic Gardens CIB is investigating.
