St James' CCN liasion officer shot

Corporal Peter Salkey, the CCN liaison officer for St. James, was shot and injured last night in Westmoreland while at a church.

Unconfirmed reports are that shortly after 10 p.m., the cop, who is stationed in Montego Bay, was at the Bethel Town Seventh-day Adventist Church in the parish, when he was shot.

He was said to have been admitted in the Cornwall Regional Hospital, but his condition was not known up to press time.
