A man who eluded the police for more than two months, found himself in double trouble as he is now facing an additional charge of manslaughter from a vehicular accident.
The man, Teshana Miller, 25, of Dela Vega City is charged with manslaughter arising from a vehicular accident from an incident on November 23 where a 13-year-old girl was killed in the car he was driving.
According to Detective Corporal Sherine Thomas of the Spanish Town police, Miller was wanted for the knife slaying of his brother Eric 'Gizzada' Miller, 20, with whom he had a fight on September 1. Miller was not caught until he was hospitalised following the vehicular accident.
The court having heard the allegations, granted him $150,000 bail on the murder charge with one or two sureties. However, despite a lengthy application by his lawyer Everton Byrd, he was remanded on the vehicular manslaughter charge and is to reappear on February 28.
