Cops search for hit-and-run driver

The Matilda's Corner police are now searching for the driver of a car which hit and killed a 70-year-old man along Barbican Road, Kingston 6, on Wednesday night.

Dead is Willie Rowe of Jacks Hill, Kingston 6. Police reports are that at 10:15 p.m., Rowe was walking along Barbican Road towards Jacks Hill when he was hit by a motor car which did not stop. He sustained injuries and died on the spot.

The police were summoned and the body removed to the morgue.
