Clarendon man first road casualty for 2008

Nehemiah Brown was one of the first casualties on the road when he was hit from his bicycle and died on Tuesday evening.

Brown, 65 years old, from Kemps Hill in Clarendon died as a result of injuries he received when he was knocked off his bicycle while riding along the Kemps Hill main road in Clarendon.

Police reports are that at 5:30 pm, Brown was riding his bicycle along the Kemps Hill main road. On reaching a section of the roadway he was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi Pajero. He sustained injuries and was taken to the Lionel Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Exeter Police are investigating.
