Players from Portmore and other sections of the Corporate Area will be vying for top honours in the second Mystix Sports Bar eight-ball double elimination pool tournament today and tomorrow at Mystix, 78 3/4 Hagley Park Road, starting at 5 p.m., on both days.

The tournament is open to 'A', 'B' and 'C' class players. 'A' class players must win four games, B class three games and C class two games.

A cash prize of $50,000 and a trophy will go to the winner, $20,000 to the runner-up, $10,000 for third place and $5,000 to the player finishing fourth. Cash incentives of $2,500 each will be paid to players finishing from fifth to eighth place.

Entry fee is $2,000, if paid before today, while it will be $2,500 after today. Entries will be drawn at 4:30 this afternoon. Eight, nine-foot tables will be used.

Meanwhile, the two-day Auto Craze tournament, confined to 'B' class players, is scheduled for next weekend, Saturday, December 22 and Sunday, December 23 at the Auto Craze Sports Bar, 12 Dunrobin Avenue. The winner will receive $25,000, second place $10,000 and third place $5,000. Entry fee is $1,000 per player, $700 re-entry.
