The STAR shares five minutes with Artiste of the Month Beenie Man exploring what its like behind the scenes.

STAR: What do you do in your spare time?

Beenie: "Me is a man who mek music and watch movies. In my spare time me lay down and watch TV. Me like documentaries and history and read me book yuh know."

STAR: What is your favourite movie?

Beenie: "I don't have a favourite movie. I like Legends of the Fall with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. Meeting Joe Black with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins, Silence of the Lambs with Anthony Hopkins."

STAR: Have you ever met any of those people?

Beenie: "Yeah, I've met Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. I meet a lot of stars, when you're in dat circle, you link up wid dem."

STAR: What do you like to read?

Beenie: "I like to read history. My favourite book in this whole entire world is Me And My Life In Ethiopia written by the Emperor. Nile Valley, Contribution to Civilisation, World's Greatest Man of Colour, Spirit and Water - a lot of books."

STAR: What do you plan to do for Christmas?

Beenie: "I don't do Christmas still, I work every Christmas, I don't have time for Christmas dinner and these things. I can't tell you I'm going to hang out wid di family or these things. I'm working from the 18th-27th. This is every Christmas."

STAR: So you don't go shopping?

Beenie: "You haffi go Christmas shopping before Christmas. Mi have kids yuh know, so mi haffi get Christmas present that dem want 'cause my parents used to tell me 'no', so is not for me to tell my kids no."

STAR: Any special plans for New Year's Eve?

Beenie: "New Year there is no more special plan than making music, as we did this year."

STAR's Artiste of the Month Moses 'Beenie Man' Davies will be at the offices of The Gleaner Company at 7 North Street, Kingston, for the biggest and baddest autograph signing of all time!

On Saturday, December 22, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Beenie Man will be getting up, close and personal with his multitude of fans to sign autographs and give a short performance to spice up the evening.
