A third man has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice alongside the husband of soul singer Amy Winehouse, police said yesterday.
James King, 36, of Risley, Derbyshire, is due to appear at Thames Magistrate's Court today charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
It is the same charge Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, 25, and another man, Anthony Kelly, 25, of Chalk Farm, north London, faced when they appeared at Thames Magistrates on Saturday.
Winehouse attended court to see Fielder-Civil and Kelly remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Nov. 23.
Dressed in a black top and grey skirt with her trademark beehive hair-do, she sat in the public gallery throughout the hearing alongside her father. Also attending was Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty.
Two other men, aged 19 and 22, arrested during the Metropolitan Police inquiry, have been released on bail.
