Deejay Elephant Man has released yet another dancing tune, and he has dubbed himself, "the King, where dancing is concerned."
Elephant Man, who recently shot a music video for his new dance singles, Bosey Bounce and Luggo Luggo says: "I'm the one wey response fi every dancer, a me deejay an' call di whole a dem name. Suh big up to all a di dancers dem, 'cause a dem a represent an' keep di dancehall alive. Big up even to di Japanese dem wey come out yah come thief wi dance an' a do it. Big up to dem to."
But how does Elephant Man select which dancers to work with from the sea of talent that currently exists in the dancehall?
Well, according to Ele: "Fi me choose a dancer, dem haffi move mi like dat, Mr. Wacky come first, Ding Dong, Blaze, Shelly Belly, Boysie, All Star. These dancers have something unusual 'bout dem, an' dem love dancing to dem heart. Dem creative and di whole a dem remind me of Bogle. An' wi cyan forget di king - Wacky himself. When mi si di dancers dem creative like dat, mi haffi come write a song 'bout it."
Buss it
Ele, in explaining how the partnership between himself and dancers works, says: "They (dancers) come to me and show me the dance an' they say they want me to buss it, 'cause when me deejay it, it gone. Dat's why I am the king when it come on to the dancing part, an' it turn out very well, 'cause si di dance dem a gwaan really well right yah now."
Elephant Man is referring to his latest dance singles, for which he recorded songs for dances started by Ding Dong, Shelly Belly and Blaze.
"The song wey mi have fi di dance wey name 'Bosey Bounce', is a dancing tune. A bran' new single weh a one a di biggest single inna di dancehall yah now. It was produced by Fire Links. Ah it a di dancing tune fi di people dem dis Christmas," he said.
He also added, "Wi do two dancing song, 'Bosey Bounce'
created by Blaze, and 'Luggo Luggo' which was created by Shelly Belly. Wi also have 'Warm Up', which was created by Ding Dong and the Ravers Clavers. An' wi jus' shoot di video fi all three of these dancing tunes, suh yuh can look out fi di video next week."
