Dear Pastor,
I must commend you on the good job you are doing. I am a 20-year-old college student training to be a teacher. I have a girl who is really a great friend, but it seems as if I'm falling in love with her. I don't want it to come between our friendship, but on the other hand, I don't want to miss a person who could be my true love.
What should I do?

Dear A.G.,
Contrary to what people believe, a man and a woman can be just good friends. On the other hand, there are times when good friends become lovers. But if neither wants that to happen, they can remain good friends. You should learn to control your emotions. Remain focussed. Hit the books hard. If you love this girl keep it in your heart, but let it not spoil the good friendship that both of you have because clearly the time is not right for both of you to become lovers.
