Dear Pastor,
I left Jamaica in June of last year. I have been together with a guy for eight years. We have two sons. I recently found out that he is cheating on me. His girl called me and told me that they are getting married in November.
What must I do? I am going out of my mind. Please give me your fatherly advice and pray for me or else I am going to Jamaica to commit murder.

Dear T.M.,
Have you not heard from the man? Did you try to reach him since you heard from the girl who is purporting to be his future bride? How do you know that she is speaking the truth? Find out from the man the truth. Would he lie about the matter?
Assuming that it is true, why would you come to Jamaica to commit murder? Which of them do you plan to kill, the man or the woman? My dear, sister, you have lived with this man for eight years and if he has chosen to marry someone else, you should just wish him well and move on with your life. Even if you were married to him and he wanted to go, he should be allowed to go in peace. Whatever happens, make sure that this man supports his children. And if you find that the situation is affecting you emotionally, psychologically and physically, seek professional help.
