The Petcom Portmore Metropolitan Cricket League will finally get under way after four weeks of delay due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers.
The feature match of the day is between Group A contenders Ken's Wildflower and Portsmouth at Bridgeport sports ground. However, players are being asked by Charles Simpson, President of the league, to arrive at the grounds from 10:00 a.m. to meet the sponsors Petcom and MegaMart.

In another Group A game, Reid's Pen host Washington C.C. at the Lime Tree Oval.
Defending champions Waterford C.C. play Hamilton Gardens at the Waterford High School grounds, in one of two Group B games, while, Cumberland take on Belmont Park at Hamilton Gardens in the other game in the group. All games are scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
