How did you get started in the business?
From singing in bible studies, my bible teacher who is a very good friend of Danny Brownie introduced me to him and that is where things started.
What has been your greatest challenge in the business yet?
For mainstream to accept Reggae Gospel music.
What have you been up to lately?
Well, I'm working on a couple of compilations, which are singles for other people. I'll be shooting a video for the single Freedom soon and will be heading to Trinidad end of the month and in November. I'll also be in Antigua by the end of year.
Do you look up to any specific artiste?
I look up to myself, of course, and Donnie McClurkin.
Are you happy with the way things are going for your career right now?
I'm blessed because my name is among household names in Jamaica in terms of gospel music. My album is also doing well in Trinidad and Tobago, which I'm grateful and give thanks for.
Anything you'd like to change about it?
No, I don't see any ting I'd like to change, because career is something that grows.
What are your future plans?
I would like to do a couple more music videos.
Do you have any advice for young artistes coming up?
Know your calling, be sure you're called by God. Also make sure you pray for God to strengthen you and keep you focused.
