Kanye worried about 'gay image'

Kanye West - File

Kanye West is worried people think he is gay.

The hip-hop star admits he has "feminine ways" but now realises they helped make him a success.

Kanye told Britain's GQ magazine: "What if your drawbacks ended up being your superpower? I've always had an issue with masculinity. I'm like, 'I hope this person isn't looking at me like I'm a fag.'

"I do have feminine ways. Maybe I'm not the guy who kicks off a fight in a club. Now I'm 30 I've accepted that. Because of that I ended up having a number one album - people are tired of that.

"I've realised everything I'm not made me everything I am."

Kanye also revealed he once had a close encounter with a drunken fan in the toilet.

He said: "I was in a club taking a ps and this guy was making comments like, 'Mr. East!', just drunk and acting stupid, and he slaps me on the back to get my attention. And I told him, 'Look, I don't feel comfortable holding my dk with another man's hand on me. Unless you want me to turn around in the middle of this.'"
